Ashton was our first born child and our only son.He came into this world a very healthy 8lb 5oz on the 12th feb 1989.having Ashton was both amazing and tiring.As a toddler he had an amazing temper but was also very loving and thoughtful.He was always a child with so much energy and had such a zest for life.he loved his life.Ashton became interested in basketball when he was about 11 years old,it was a good outlet for his energy.He would never be seen without a basketball,and we knew when he was coming by the sound of his bouncing basketball,he played for his school team and started coaching younger children at school.he joined nottingham youth basketball team and played daily. Ashton loved music,his social life and girls(romeo).When Ashton died the local community were shocked to lose a lovely young man.He has three younger sisters who were devastated when he died.on the 15th of may 2004 he was on his way training with his best friend,he was boncing his ball when it went into the road,in a split second he was hit by a car and died almost instantly.I was and still am very proud of him.he was an amazing young man with so many friends and family that love and miss him terribly.xxxxx
